Every turkey hunter knows the sound.

First light creeps through the timber. A gobbler sounds off from the roost. Then comes the heavy beat of wings overhead, followed by the cackles of birds pitching down through the trees.

The flydown means the waiting is over. The birds are on the ground, and the hunt is on.

It’s one of those moments turkey hunters never get tired of — right up there with a loud gobble, a clean shot, and a sharp knife.

The Flydown is named for that moment. The instant anticipation becomes action and another spring morning becomes a hunt you’ll remember.

This is my EDC and hunt hybrid that also makes a great companion knife for camping, bushcrafting, and life’s great adventures. I originally designed it as my ultimate turkey hunting knife and quickly found out this little knife is jack of all trades. 

These come with a Kydex sheath and you can choose either scout carry straps or a Discreet Carry Concepts clip to be included with your sheath. 

These knives are made by Brent Stubblefield and his team at Join or Die Knives in Richmond, Virginia. I've known Brent for years and I learned to make knives from him. His work is impeccable and I trust him completely to heat treat, grind, and finish every blade. I personally make about one knife per week and you can find those in the Garage Made section.
